PAST FRIENDSTerichline Windrush at Regalflight Sadly we lost our old lad Windrush on 30th December 2010. Given sleep peacefully at home. He had been on borrowed time since last years breed show, where he became very confused & anxious (doggy dimencia).
He tried to escape out of the hotel window & car tailgate on more than one occassion that weekend. After loosing his beloved Lana in November he seemed to give up without his companion. True devotion & together forever.
I feel blessed that he entered our lives after his Owner & breeder Caroline Dowsett passed away. We must mention Joyce Bond too as she originally had him then let him come to Wolfscastle & the rest is history. He sired our 2 champions & his type & temprement live on through his progeny. They have left their legacy here & we will always be grateful that we owned such wonderful hounds. They are irreplacable.
Willow (D/H) Our first D/H & mother of our first litter. Never a show girl, but a wonderful nature & taught us so much about the breed,a pleasure to own.Lived until she was 8yrs.
Missy (whippet) tragically killed. Ebony has never gotten over it! Her 1st show dog.
Pip (Lurcher)A Rescue dog. Never knew she was here. Lived until she was 17yrs
Elma (D/H) from our 1st litter - lived till she was 8yrs
Garnock litter brother of Elma died at 1 1/2yrs.
Gentom Legacy of Wolfcastle (Lana) - pedigreeWOLFSCASTLE HAS LOST A TRUE FRIEND & COMPANION.
We are sad to say we lost our beloved Lana yesterday. She had only been ill a few days, but still wanted to please us to the end.
We were so lucky to of had her in our lives & she was the foundation of what we have today!
Thank you to Tom & Jean for letting us have our lass. What a character, she lives on in her progeny, but we will miss her terribly, she was Top Dog!!!
